FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

How should I store my product?

The product should be stored away from heat. Dynair products should be stored horizontally. As a precaution, keep the product away from sharp objects.

How can I care and clean my product?

All products made by TOGU (made in Germany), unless otherwise stated, are made of high quality Ruton® material. All products are washable and can be cleaned with usual detergents and desinfectants. Do not use solvent based or corrosive detergants.

What materials make up my TOGU product?

Our products are made of PVC. The special mixture is patented and called Ruton®. All our products made in Germany are latex free, free of forbidden materials and free from heavy metals. We ensure that the manufacturing process is free of forbidden plasticizers and phthalates and is in line with the strict EU regulation for PVC production.

How can I pump or reinflate my TOGU product?

Only inflate and deflate the product if it is warmed up to room temperature. Please respect the advised maximum measurements, otherwise the material can become overstretched. For products with a rubber valve, use a needle pump (e.g. used for footballs). The needle has to be moistened before inserting it carefully and straight into the valve. NOTE: when inserting the needle into flat products ensure you do not puncture the opposite side. For products with a plug valve, inflate with an air pump or a blower. If you use a compressor please respect the maximum diameter of the product. ABS Balls (ANTI-BURST-SYSTEM): See special ABS instructions for each ABS ball.

How long should I carry out the exercises recommended for my product?

Exercises can be repeated 15 to 30 times, 2 to 3 repetitions and with 30 to 60 seconds rest each time. This depends on your personal fitness levels. Balance exercises ususally can be held for 20 to 30 seconds. Please email info@toguuk.com for assistance before starting to exercise if you are unsure.

What does the blue AGR proven and recommended seal mean?

The seal is given by a independent jury of medical doctors and scientists and means that the product is especially back friendly; in TOGU’s case a back-friendly training tool and ideal for dynamic sitting. More on www.agr-ev.de

How do I measure the diameter of my product?

With a measuring tape and a piece of card. Inflate your ball and mark 65cm (for example) using your measuring tape at the wall. Using the piece of card you can control the height (and diameter) of the ball.

What does 'Burst-Proof' mean?

The “skin” of the exercise ball is between 0.5mm and 3mm “thick” depending on the quality. If the skin of the ball is damaged and scratched by sharp edges, cats’ claws, little grains on the wall and floor etc., then this makes the ball wall even thinner. When a load is then applied, for example when someone sits on it, conventional balls can burst suddenly within a fraction of a second without giving the user any chance to react. You need to know how the ball is going to behave when the skin is already damaged or becomes damaged in use, because this is where there is a risk of an accident!

What size of Ballkissen I should get?

You can choose between a diameter of 30cm, 33cm, 36cm and 39cm. Furthermore there are Ballkissens with a 50cm and an 80cm diameter; the right size depends on the intended purpose. The 30cm version is recommended for children, the 33cm, 36cm and 39cm for adults. The larger the Ballkissen, the more unstable it is, thus intensifying the training effect. The body weight should have no influence on the choice, because all Ballkissens can resist loads of at least up to 200kg.

Do I have to inflate my Ballkissen and Airgo Cushion before using it?

No, because all Dynair products are delivered with the right air levels and are ready for immediate use.

How do I remove air from the Dynair Ballkissen or Airgo Cushion if it has been inflated too much?

The products can be easily deflated, by inserting the needle on its own into the valve and squeezing the air out.

Can I harm my back while sitting on a Dynair Ballkissen, such as sitting too long?

No! If you sit too long on a Ballkissen it can only cause you some soreness in the muscles, just like after an intense training. You will notice when sitting becomes too demanding, and then you can leave the Ballkissen for some time or stand up from time to time. For an extended period of sitting, our experts recommend the Dynair Wedge Ballkissen Premium or the Airgo Seat and Back Cushion.

What are the knobbs on the Dynair Ballkissen good for, and which side should I use?

The knobbed side has a massage effect and is designed to enhance the perception of stimuli. (e.g. perform exercise barefooted on the knobbed side). You can choose whichever side feels more comfortbale for you when you are sitting.

Can I use the Brasil in water too?

Yes, the Brasil is waterproof up to a depth of 2.5 metres. It should be dried and stored after each water training session, and it must not be kept permanently in water (as the chloride will damage the material).

How do you pump up a Redondo Ball?

You can use either a straw that comes with the package or any similar straw. Because the Redondo Ball is equipped with a simple plug valve, it can also be pumped up with any reciprocating pump (e.g. TOGU Powerball Hand Pump)
